Republican Party leader physically assaulted at Amirani Cinema

Davit Berdzenishvili, one of the leaders of the opposition “Republican Party”, was physically assaulted by protesters outside the building of Amirani Cinema.

Police officers defused the tension.

Supporters and members of the “Georgian March” movement and businessman Levan Vasadze are gathered outside Amirani Cinema, where the premiere of the Georgian-Swedish film “And Then We Danced” is scheduled for this evening.
