Tengiz Pkhaladze, an expert on foreign affairs, says the situation caused by the negative assessment received from the international community, is alarming.
As Pkhaladze said at a news conference on Monday, it is important for the government to take practical steps to eliminate shortcomings.
“Today we see that mainly the Georgian authorities are switching to rhetoric. During this period, the criticism against us has reached an alarming level. We need neither rhetoric, nor visits, but concrete actions that will eradicate the shortcomings that actually exist. These shortcomings are noted not only in these letters but in the assessment of many international organizations. It is very alarming that Georgia has so many negative reviews. Therefore, it is very important to start practical actions that will eliminate these shortcomings, ”Pkhaladze said.
