Ivanishvili's system has been shaken by resistance of the Georgian people and foreigners and we must finnaly defeat it, - former Georgian President Mikheil Saakashvili says in a video address, responding to an agreement between the Georgian government and the opposition.

According to him, no ideal electoral system could be adopted at this stage, but it will be possible after the elections.

“Ivanishvili's system has been shaken by the resistance of the Georgian people and foreigners, and we must finnaly defeat it. Release of part of our political prisoners is very important. Gigi Ugulava and other political prisoners must be released. Most of the Georgian people want me to be involved in the Georgian political activity and I should be allowed to do so and there should be a normal political process. We cannot get an ideal electoral system right now, but after the election, where Ivanishvili will surely be defeated, we will simply ruin his dream and the Georgian people will win and it will be possible to achieve better electoral system," Saakashvili said.
