High Council of Justice nominates Shalva Tadumadze and Nino Kadagidze for post of Supreme Court Chair

The High Council of Justice has nominated Shalva Tadumadze and Nino Kadagidze for the vacant position of the Chairperson of the Supreme Court. The decision was made within the framework of consultations with the judges of the Supreme Court, - Ana Dolidze, non-judge member of the High Council of Justice, told reporters after the consultations on Tueday.

According to Ana Dolidze, the consultations looked like the Soviet Communist Party sessions.

She said Shalva Tadumadze's candidature was named by Judge Merab Gabinashvili, while Nino Kadagidze's candidature- by Judge Alexander Tsuladze.

“I had a feeling that I was attending the performance, staged by bad amateur theater. There was consensus among everyone without any discussion, "Dolidze said.
