MBC sets three-month payment holidays for its customers and shifts some employees to remote working

Given the current situation in the country, the Microfinance Organisation MBC offers three-month payment holidays to its customers, who face income problems because of the coronavirus. The company explains that the payment holiday will be extended to both the principal and interest payment on their loans.

“Due to the current situation in our country, we realize the social responsibility before our customers and have made a decision to set three-month payment holidays for those customers, who were affected by the current situation. Information about the details of the relief measures is available on the MBC website and Facebook page and all necessary procedures will be done remotely, without visiting the office. MBC cares about its customers and wishes them good health and prosperity. We will overcome all difficulties with our joint efforts in the near future,” the company said in a statement.

Moreover, the company said, disinfection of its offices is regularly carried out since early March for the safety of its employees and customers.

In addition, in the light of the current situation in the country, the company has taken the following measures:

  • All the employees of the company were provided with sanitizers, disposable gloves and protective masks;
  • The company service centers have been equipped with sanitizers forprotection of its customers;
  • The company called its clients to enjoy a remote service;
  • Representatives of the cleaning service regularly clean the offices with a special solution;
  • The company seeks to reduce the number of its employees, who travel by public transport and has launched the action : “travel together”.
  • The company has identified its employees, who are at high risk of getting coronavirus according to the World Health Organization criteria and allowed them to work remotely;
  • Those employees who can perform their duties from home have also been allowed to work remotely;

Employees are the most valuable asset of MBC. Therefore, the Company's management continuously analyzes the risks, the current situation in the country and takes timely and effective steps based on the recommendations of the country's government and health officials.
