Restrictions on the gathering of more than 10 people will apply to the Church as well. Prime Minister Giorgi Gakharia made the respective statement at the special briefing at the governmental administration.

“The state of emergency will be declared across the country. Restrictions apply to everyone and everything, and is primarily aimed at the protecting the health of our citizens. The main objective of the Georgian Government is to take care of the health of our citizens regardless of their religious beliefs,” Giorgi Gakharia said.
