Ministry of Health spends GEL 8 million against coronavirus

The Ministry of Health has spent about GEL 8 million on measures against coronavirus.

As Eka Adamia, Head of the Programmes Department of the Ministry of Health, told InterPressNews, considering the current and planned purchases, the final costs are likely to be higher.

“This money was spent on respiratory devices, disinfectants, displays, medical equipment, as well as personal protective equipment, etc. We also spent money to arrange quarantine spaces. Serious amount of the money is being spent on buying tests,” Eka Adamia said.
