According to the Mayor of the capital, Kakha Kaladze, due to the fact that the Georgian Dream enjoys great support of voters as of today, it will not form a coalition with anyone.
As Kaladze told reporters, the ruling party is the only force in the country that actually has a chance to enter the parliament with a large majority.
"You know my attitude towards public opinion polls. In these specific polls, according to which, the Georgian Dream has 39% of support, the first figure is supposedly a mistake and there should probably be 5 instead of 3.
Today, the Georgian Dream party is the only force in the country that actually has a chance to enter the parliament with a large majority without forming any coalition”, Kaladze said.
The comments come after Edison Research published a public opinion poll ordered by the Formula TV, according to which, Georgian Dream enjoys 39% of support; 20% of the population say they have not decided yet who to vote for; 16 % supports the United National Movement; 5% supports the European Georgia-Free Democrats.
