Lelo for Georgia is presenting the Marshall Plan – Georgia’s Reconstruction Program.

As one of the leaders of the party Badri Japaridze stated, the mentioned plan envisages a fundamental reconstruction of the Georgian economy. According to him, Georgia needs fundamental changes.

“The name we chose for our program stems from the fact that after the war, when the German economy was completely ruined, a special plan was developed in Germany with the participation of Secretary of State Marshall and this plan was called the Marshall Plan. The plan provided for fundamental measures for the restoration of economy. Georgia needs fundamental changes. Our economy needs a completely new and innovative approach to get out of the deep crisis we are in. In addition, we must remember that 20% of our country is occupied. That is why radical steps are needed for the reconstruction of Georgia and economic revival, and that is why we called our program Marshall Plan - Georgia’s Reconstruction Program," Japaridze said.
