The Head of Government thanks the citizens of Georgia who made their choice today and notes that free, open and democratic elections were held through joint efforts, despite the pandemic.

"We have won! Thanks to the citizens of Georgia who made their choice today! Together, despite the pandemic, we have held exemplary, free, open and democratic elections. We have shown the whole world that we are an integral part of European civilization and deserve a worthy place in the great European family, which we will all surely gain together.

Thanks to everyone - the Central Election Commission, which ensured that the will of each voter was expressed in a safe environment; observers, our international partners, whose participation in this process was crucial; the police - for the protection of public order. No official results have been announced yet, however, we already know that today the citizens of Georgia has won, who want to move their country forward, to a peaceful, European future, ”said Prime Minister Giorgi Gakharia.
