Police are in "Reformer Fitness" center in Batumi, which was rented by Zurab Japaridze, the leader of "Girchi". Representatives of various political parties are protesting against this fact. Those gathered at the fitness center say that working out is not a crime.
According to one of the members of Girchi, the fitness center is privately owned and the police had no right to enter.
"We knew that Zura Japaridze rented the place and invited people. This is private property that police are not allowed to enter. It's a paradoxical situation when there is a special operation nearby the fitness club", - said Girchi's representative.
According to Giorgi Putkaradze, the owner of "Reformer Fitness", the law enforcers are carrying out investigative actions and are trying to close the gym.
According to him, they did not obey the decision of the government and continued their activities, for which the representatives of the relevant services issued a fine of 10,000 GEL, and now due to their disobedience, the law enforcers entered the building. According to Giorgi Putkaradze, they are not going to pay a fine of 10,000 GEL. According to him, the norms of hygiene in the fitness center are observed as much as possible.
