Vakhtang Makharoblishvili appointed Georgia's Representative to the European Union

Vakhtang Makharoblishvili has been appointed Georgia's Representative to the European Union, and Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Georgia to the Kingdom of Belgium and the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg.

Vakhtang Makharoblishvili has been working in various positions in the diplomatic service since 2000. From 2016, he held the position of Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Georgia, and from July 8, 2019, he was appointed First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Georgia.

For the record, the Ambassador of Georgia to the Kingdom of Belgium and the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, Natali Sabanadze, resigned as the Head of the Mission of Georgia to the European Union on March 21.
