According to the head of the National Center for Disease Control, Amiran Gamkrelidze, people who were infected with COVID will be able to get the vaccine in less than 4 months.

As Gamkrelidze said in response to a question from InterpressNews, it is planned to reduce the period of vaccination for people who were infected with COVID in July, when there will be enough vaccines in the country. However, Amiran Gamkrelidze does not specify the exact number of months or weeks after which the mentioned persons will be able to get the vaccine.

"Many countries have 1-3 months, some 2 weeks. We will review this based on best practices and experience, and it will probably decrease in July", - Gamkrelidze said.
