James Appathurai meets parliamentary majority and opposition in Parliament of Georgia

NATO Secretary General's Special Representative for the Caucasus and Central Asia James Appathurai is holding a meeting with Parliament Speaker Kakha Kuchava, as well as representatives of the parliamentary majority and the opposition, in the Georgian Parliament.

Prior to the meeting, Teona Akubardia, a member of Strategy Builder, said that she would raise the issue of the importance of fulfilling the Charles Michel agreement at the meeting.

According to Devi Chankotadze, a member of the United National Movement, on behalf of his party, he will ask Appathurai to help ensure that as many foreign observers attend the self-government elections as possible so that the elections can be held fairly.
