"At this point, it can be said that the first stage of coordination, though delayed, is successfully completed. Two mayoral candidates in Khoni - Zurab Jibukhaia, and in Terjola - Zurab Butskhrikidze are agreed with different political forces. At the same time, we will naturally nominate candidates, where it was part of the agreement to have several candidates", - Giga Bokeria said.

The list of mayoral candidates is the following: Gori - Eter Jalaghonia, Akhaltsikhe - Zurab Sadatierashvili, Akhalkalaki - Araen Karapetiani, Marneuli - Akhmed Imamkuliev, Samtredia - Zhuzhuka Popkhadze, Kaspi - Akaki (Kakha) Gejadze, Ambrolauri - Maia Katsitadze, Tetritskaro - Nino Davitashvili.

Candidates will be nominated separately in Tsalenjikha, Ninotsminda and Adigeni.

According to Bokeria, in more than 300 majoritarian constituencies, a preliminary agreement has been reached on the nomination of a single candidate.

"At the first stage, we are satisfied with this result of the coordination and we believe that this message should reach the citizens that the opposition parties in different districts and municipalities, with different compositions, have been able to find a reasonable compromise on what will decide the fate of our country, it was the demonstration that we can defeat the Ivanishvili regime and then make coordinated, coalition decisions", - Bokeria said.
