The President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky awarded several persons at an event in the center of Kyiv on the occasion of the Independence Day of Ukraine. "Ukrinform" reports about it.

The leader of Ukraine, along with other prominent figures, awarded the state order to Georgian singer and actor Vakhtang Kikabidze. He was awarded the Fifth Degree Order of Yaroslav the Wise.

Ukraine celebrates the 30th anniversary of its independence today. Celebrations are taking place across the country.
