Georgian boxer Avtandil Khurtsidze to leave United States prison early, on September 14

Georgian boxer Avtandil Khurtsidze, who holds six championship belts, will leave the United States prison on September 14. Khurtsidze published the relevant information on the social network.

According to Khurtsidze, his early release was due to his good behavior and discipline. He plans to continue his sports career after leaving prison.

"Greetings to the fans, friends, relatives. I want to inform you that September 14 is the day of my freedom. I waill hide and say that I was in better conditions in the cell than I had while training in my homeland. So I am satisfied with such conditions and I am ready to continue my career,” said Avtandil Khurtsidze.

In September 2018, 41-year-old Avtandil Khurtsidze was sentenced to 10 years in prison for having connection with a criminal living in Brooklyn, Rajden Shulaia. Khurtsidze was serving his sentence in the West Virginia prison.
