Total number of global cases of coronavirus exceeds 225 million

The total number of people infected with coronavirus since the beginning of the pandemic has exceeded 225 million in the world, according to worldometers.

According to the same statistics, Covid 19 has killed more than 4.6 million people worldwide, while the number of people recovered from the virus exceeds 201 million.

There are currently 18.8 million active cases of infection worldwide. The highest number of coronavirus infections - 41.8 million cases - has been confirmed by the United States, followed by India with more than 33.2 million cases, followed by Brazil, the United Kingdom and Russia.
