According to the Head of the OSCE Monitoring Mission, Albert Jonsson, statements made by the authorities during the campaign on various projects were not in accordance with the law and, together with the involvement of high-ranking officials, gave the ruling party a major advantage.

According to Jonsson, the existing election legislation generally provides an adequate basis for democratic elections, although some of the recommendations of the OSCE / ODIHR and the Venice Commission have not yet been met, in particular the part related to the resolution of election disputes and administrative resources.
