Ukrainian journalist Dmitry Gordon says he was not allowed entry in Georgia.
"I have just been officially told that I will not be allowed entry in Georgia. The reasons were not named. I clearly connect this with the fact that the previous day the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine requested the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Georgia to organize my visit to Mikheil Saakashvili in Rustavi Prison. Everything that happened is an international scandal and a shame for the Georgian government", - Gordon wrote on Telegram.
In addition, Ukrainian ombudsman Ludmila Denisova recently said that she was stopped at the border for 40 minutes upon entering Georgia and was only allowed entry in Georgia after she made some calls and warnings. Earlier, Mikheil Saakashvili's Ukrainian lawyer Evgeny Grushovets reported that he was refused entry to Georgia without any explanation and returned to Ukraine. The same is stated by the head of Mikheil Saakashvili's office in Ukraine Maria Barabash.
