The rally organized by Shame Movement in support of Ukraine held in Tbilisi

The rally in support of Ukraine was organized by the Shame Movement near the Embassy of Ukraine.

The rally was joined by civil activists and organizations, public figures and political parties.

Protesters played Ukrainian and Georgian national anthems and unfurled flags of both countries. The demonstrators also had banners reading "Ukraine and Georgia without Russia", "Glory to Ukraine", "We will never return to the Soviet Union", etc.

According to Nika Farulava, one of the protesters, when the Georgian-Ukrainian issue is being decided on the international level, the silence of the Georgian government is "anti-state and goes against the future security of Georgia."

"This is a rally in solidarity with our historical friend and strategic partner, which faces the same challenges as Georgia did in 2008. When the Georgian-Ukrainian issue is being decided on the international level, the silence of the Georgian government is anti-state and goes against the future security of Georgia. All this is in Russia's interests only," said Nika Farulava, a civil activist.
