Aleko Elisashvili: I could not watch this fight from afar, that is why I am here, in Ukraine, in the foreign legion of volunteer fighters

As he writes in a statement posted on Facebook, he could not watch the fight from afar.

"I have never been indifferent. I could never live in such a way as to ignore the sorrow and suffering of others. Now Ukraine, the Ukrainians who share our trouble and fest, are struggling. They are fighting against our common enemy. I could not watch this fight from afar. That is why I am here in Ukraine. In the foreign legion of volunteer fighters. We must defeat the enemy. Glory to Ukraine! Glory to Georgia!" Elisashvili writes.
