No matter who calls us, including the Secretary of the Security Council of Ukraine, the Georgian Government is not going to deviate from its stated peace policy. It has been like this before and it will be like that in the future as well, Irakli Beraia, Chairman of the Defense and Security Committee of the Parliament of Georgia writes on the social network.­

Beraia responds to the statement of the Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine Oleksiy Danilov, according to which "if Transnistria and Georgia engage in returning their territories, it will definitely help Ukraine."

According to Beraia, there are actors in the country and abroad that are doing everything to "drag Georgia into the war."

"We were talking about exactly this fact that there are actors, both in the country and abroad, who have an interest and try everything to expand the geographical area of ​​hostilities and drag Georgia into the war. It was expected that they could not hide their intentions and tasks for a long time. This was voiced by the Secretary of the Security Council of Ukraine, which is unacceptable and shocking to us.

I wish the Ukrainian people peace, and as for Danilov - more prudence and rationality.
