Mamuka Chelidze will be replaced by Teimuraz Kupatadze as the director of the Criminal Police Department

Police colonel Teimuraz Kupatadze was appointed as the director of the Central Criminal Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

According to the information of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, until now, he held the position of deputy director of the Tbilisi Police Department. Kupatadze replaced Mamuka Chelidze in the new position.

"Teimuraz Kupatadze has many years of experience in the Ministry of Internal Affairs. He has worked in a number of leading positions in the Ministry throughout years," the information says.
