Until no agreement on non-use of force is signed, the Abkhazian authorities will always assess the probability of a war with Georgia as high, the so-called minister of foreign affairs of the occupied Abkhazia, Inal Ardzinba, said in an interview with the Russian media.
"Until no agreement on non-use of force is signed with Georgia at the Geneva discussions, the Abkhazian authorities will always assess the probability of a war with Georgia as high. We have this opinion as Georgia rejects to sign this agreement," Ardzinba said.
According to him, Abkhazia is ready to sign the mentioned agreement at the next round of international negotiations in Geneva, which is scheduled for early October.
"At the beginning of October, probably on 5-6 October, the next round of discussions is scheduled in Geneva. In my opinion, this is a great opportunity to conclude an agreement on non-use of force with Georgia. If Georgia wants peace, it will sign this agreement. I can officially state that we are ready to sign this agreement," Ardzinba said.
In addition, according to him, the USA is exerting pressure on Georgia to open the so-called second front.
