According to the decision of For Georgia, Davit Partsvania, a member of the Tbilisi City Council, was expelled from the party. The chairman of the Tbilisi For Georgia faction, Zaza Tavadze, announced this at a briefing held with the members of the faction.
As Zaza Tavadze said, according to their information, in exchange for 20 thousand dollars from Georgian Dream and employment in a good position in the future, Davit Partsvania left the Tbilisi For Georgia faction.
According to Zaza Tavadze, he was suspected of alleged secret cooperation with Georgian Dream and the State Security Service.
Tavadze said that Georgian Dream continues a deliberate fight against the For Georgia party throughout Georgia.
"Georgian Dream aggressively continues a targeted fight against our political party throughout Georgia, including seizing political power in municipalities using illegal methods, in which representatives of the criminal world are actively involved. There is bribery of people, intimidation, blackmail, taking away the choices made by citizens by violence, which some part of people, unfortunately, cannot stand, however, we have examples of worthy struggle. Our party unites thousands of people of the right values in all regions of the country gathered around common national ideas, gathered only for Georgia, next to whom there is no place for people who have lost their dignity and were sold out. Our judgment in all such cases will be similarly severe.
It is clear to everyone that Dream has completely incorporated the ugly forms of governance that characterized the National Movement government in 2011-2012, and what is most significant, Dream today, both inside and outside the country, openly trades the country's sovereignty and European future, to which our citizens will give a worthy answer," said Zaza Tavadze.
