Persons arrested in the case of Vake Park tragedy were sentenced to prison as a measure of restraint.

Judge Mikheil Jinjolia made the mentioned decision.

The Prosecutor's Office, in the form of a petition, demanded imprisonment for all 9 defendants, and the lawyers demanded the release of the defendants from the courtroom, or alternatively, the use of bail.

According to the information of Archil Tkeshelashvili, the prosecutor of the mentioned case, there were both factual and formal grounds for the use of imprisonment, in particular - danger of absconding, destruction of evidence, and a repetition of the crime.

For information, on October 18, law enforcement officers arrested 9 people in connection with the tragedy in Vake Park.
