They are irresponsible, rude, they insult the judge in every way, this is how judge Levan Murusidze responds to the criticism of the non-governmental sector in connection with his election as a member of the Supreme Council of Justice.
According to Levan Murusidze, what NGOs are doing is evil against the country and justice.
"Non-governmental people came out and cursed us regarding the case of Rustavi 2, then it turned out that the case of Rustavi 2 was correctly and legally resolved. Did someone apologize? Therefore, these are irresponsible non-governmental organizations, rude, they insult the judge in every way. I will not single out one specificcally, for me there is only one, their name is legion. Have you ever heard a different opinion from NGOs? Did they say something positive about the court?
What they are doing is evil against the country and against justice. I suggested to them that at least one NGO should take responsibility for what is happening in the court, maybe we can cooperate in this regard. If you want to cooperate and if you are sincerely interested in the independence of the judicial system, I am ready to cooperate, if you are not ready and you will continue to curse-swear-bullying judges, then of course we will not only defend ourselves, but we will call everything by its name. The judiciary is not so weak to be afraid of the outbursts of NGOs and some politicians. Naturally, we will not turn to fist-boxing, we will defend ourselves with our competence, decency, and honesty," said Levan Murusidze.
