Jaba Samushia was elected rector of Tbilisi State University. The election of the rector ended recently, where the members of the academic council, as a result of voting, supported the only candidate presented as the rector of TSU, Jaba Samushia.
The academic council of TSU elected Jaba Samushia as the 30th rector for a term of 4 years.
Jaba Samushia was elected acting rector until now.
For information, TSU rector Giorgi Sharvashidze applied to the Academic Council on October 7 to resign.
