Ukraine's Charge d'Affaires Andrii Kasianov has arrived at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Georgia.

According to reports, Kasianov will meet with the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs.

According to the Ministry, Kasianov was summoned to the agency for making explanations about his statement.

As Kasianov told journalists, at the meeting they would discussed a wide range of issues related to the bilateral relations between Georgia and Ukraine, although this information was later rejected by the Ministry.

For information, Ukraine's Charge d'Affaires Andrii Kasianov said in an interview with European Pravda that the Embassy of Ukraine in Georgia does not rule out the possibility of evacuating Ukrainian citizens "if they are threatened by the resumption of direct air traffic between Georgia and the Russian Federation and the massive influx of Russians."
