Georgia wants to take back Abkhazia and South Ossetia, but its dreams will remain in the "world of dreams and fantasies", Konstantin Zatulin, deputy of the Russian Duma, first deputy chairman of the CIS, Eurasian Integration and Relations Committee, told URA.RU.
"For Georgia's demand to be met, Russia must be defeated. In the conditions of defeat, different ideas can be raised, which can be demanded for Russia. So, what Ms. Zurabishvili says is unlikely to come true," said Zatulin.
The Russian MP noted that Tbilisi, which has nothing to do with the conflict in Ukraine, "is trying to increase its value and once again demand something from Russia."
Zatulin is sure that dreams of returning occupied Abkhazia and so-called South Ossetia will remain "in the world of dreams and fantasies".
In addition, he noted that escalation is possible at the borders of Georgia.
"There may be an escalation, but only if the government of Georgia comes under the pressure that is applied to them. It will be implemented in reality," said the MP.
