According to Sergey Lavrov, the West is trying to open a "second front" in Georgia and Moldova

According to Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov, the West is trying to open a "second front" in Georgia and Moldova. He stated this in a conversation with journalists during his visit to Uzbekistan.

According to him, in its military-political and diplomatic plans, Russia takes into account the attempts of the West to open a "second front" in Georgia and Moldova, as well as the military contingent located in Poland near the border of Belarus.

"The unity of these factors does not give anyone the right to rest, we don't rest either, we see all of this and take everything into account in our planning - military-political, diplomatic, and in other ways," Lavrov said.

According to him, Russia saw attempts to involve the Georgian authorities in the opening of the "second front", but the country's government showed a "responsible approach" and refused such actions. Also, according to Lavrov, there were reports that they are trying to create a "second, third, one-and-a-half front" from Moldova.
