The information about the operation of direct flights by the Georgian Airline in the direction of Moscow is not true, reads the statement issued by the Civil Aviation Agency of Georgia.
According to the statement, the Russian side did not apply for the restoration of regular air traffic.
"We emphatically state that there is no direct regular air traffic between Georgia and Russia, and the status quo of the mentioned situation has not changed.
We would also like to note that the Russian side has not applied for the restoration of regular air traffic. Accordingly, the information spread in the media about the operation of direct flights to Moscow by the Georgian Airline does not correspond to the truth. Probably, we will not be able to comment on the initiative of the Georgian company," reads the statement.
