We believe that culture impacts society — art is political. As an embodiment of culture, artists are able to influence public opinion and promote active citizenship and humanistic, democratic values. As citizens, artists are obliged to have opinions to express. Our stance is clear: we demand the aggressor to stop the war immediately, and the NOW festival is our way of protesting. All funds raised will be directed to funds supporting refugees from Ukraine, Abkhazia, and the Tskhinvali region: Choose to Help and Library about Georgia’, the organizers say.
