The law enforcement officers arrested 6 people at the rally near the Tbilisi International Airport

The law enforcement officers arrested 6 people during the rally taking place near Shota Rustaveli Tbilisi International Airport. IPN" was informed about this by the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

According to them, all 6 persons have been detained administratively.

For information, a plane belonging to a Russian airline landed at Tbilisi International Airport. This was the first direct flight from Russia to Georgia after 2019. The Moscow-Tbilisi flight was operated by Azimut airline. At the same time, a protest rally is taking place on the territory of the airport. The participants of the rally are protesting the flight from Russia. Police are mobilized both on the internal and external perimeter of the airport. They strictly control the flow of passengers entering the airport.
