Papuna Margvelidze: 23 of the 26 people who died as a result of the disaster have been identified - the search will continue until there is even a slight theoretical chance of finding the citizens

Search operations in Shovi are still ongoing. They are currently looking for 7 missing citizens in the disaster area.

As the state representative of Racha Lechkhumi-Kvemo Svaneti, Papuna Margvelidze, says, at the moment, the bodies of 26 citizens have been found in the disaster area, and 23 of them have been identified.

"Out of 33 missing citizens, 26 bodies have been found so far. The search for 7 missing citizens continues. 23 deceased have been identified. The search operations will continue until there is even a slight theoretical chance to find the citizens," said Parmen Margvelidze.

To remind you, a landslide occurred in Shovi on August 3.
