According to the data of July of this year, a total of 181,352 people under the age of 18 receive the social allowance in Georgia.

According to data, the largest number of 46,402 minors receiving social allowances is recorded in Tbilisi, 30,274 recipients of social allowances under the age of 18 come from Kvemo Kartli, and the third place in the number of minors in need of social assistance is Imereti, where 19,930 persons receive social allowances.

The least number of persons under 18 years of age receiving social allowance are registered in Racha-Lechkhumi Kvemo Svaneti, their total number is 1243.

It should be noted here that 48,548 children under the age of 6 receive social benefits. Most of them, 11,616 children are registered in Tbilisi, 8,130 in Kvemo Kartli, and 5,393 children receive social benefits in Imereti.

In addition, according to data, 53,196 representatives of the age group between 6-18 years old are involved in the state program of public employment promotion.
