Head of the Anti-Corruption Bureau meets Global Anti-Corruption Regional Team Lead in Atlanta

In the city of Atlanta, The Head of the Anti-Corruption Bureau, Razhden Kuprashvili, met with Dr. Kris Fersonke, Global Anti-Corruption Regional Team Lead, Anti-Corruption Bureau reports.

According to them, during the meeting, they discussed the primary directions and future objectives of the Anti-Corruption Bureau. The challenges faced in combating corruption in Georgia were also highlighted.

"The Head of the Bureau emphasized the importance of cooperation with international partners and the exchange of experiences, noting that these factors are crucial for effective anti-corruption policy planning and implementation.

Furthermore, the meeting set the groundwork for a future visit to Georgia by the Lead and Coordinator of the Regional Team for Global Anti-Corruption Issues, aimed at fostering future cooperation.

The meeting is also attended by Tamta Kachkachishvili, the First Deputy Head of the Anti-Corruption Bureau; Besiki Vekua, Head of the Department of Monitoring of Asset Declarations of Officials; and Giorgi Bagdavadze, Legal Adviser," reads the statement.
