Giorgi Amilakhvari held a working meeting with Hazif Pashayev, rector of Azerbaijan Diplomatic Academy (ADA Universiteti)

The Minister of Education, Science and Youth of Georgia Giorgi Amilakhvari, together with the delegation, is on a working visit to Baku, the capital of Azerbaijan. The Ministry of Education and Science disseminates information about this.

According to the agency, within the framework of the visit, the minister held a working meeting with the Rector of Azerbaijan Diplomatic Academy (ADA University) Hafiz Pashayev."The parties discussed issues of strengthening ties between the higher educational institutions of Georgia and the Diplomatic Academy of Azerbaijan and implementation of joint scientific-research projects. Giorgi Amilakhvar thanked Hazif Pashaev for the fruitful partnership.

It should be noted that Tbilisi State University, Technical University of Georgia and Kutaisi International University signed a memorandum of cooperation with Azerbaijan Diplomatic Academy last year in order to deepen educational and cultural relations.

Within the framework of cooperation, it is planned to organize joint exchange programs, research projects and professional trainings with the participation of both professors and students. In addition, the memorandum envisages support for the implementation of various seminars, conferences and cultural programs.

The rector of Azerbaijan Diplomatic Academy (ADA Universiteti) thanked Giorgi Amilakhvari for close cooperation and expressed readiness to deepen the existing partnership.

First Deputy Minister of Education, Science and Youth of Georgia Aleksandre Tsuladze, Deputy Nodar Papukashvili, Rector of Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University Jaba Samushia, Rector of Technical University of Georgia Davit Gurgenidze and Rector of Kutaisi International University Aleksandre Tevzadze attended the meeting.
