Alan Alborov: The issue of South Ossetia joining Russia is being discussed in close coordination with Moscow

The issue of South Ossetia joining Russia is being discussed in close coordination with Moscow, - the so-called chairman of parliament of occupied Tskhinvali, Alan Alborov, told RIA Novosti.

"We will consider all these issues in close coordination with the Russian Federation, taking into account our bilateral relations and agreements," he said, when he answered the question about the possibility of holding a "referendum".

According to Alborov, Moscow and Tskhinvali implement a coordinated "foreign policy".

"When we come to this idea together with Russia, we will do it," he noted.

In 2023, the so-called occupied Tskhinvali "president" Alan Gagloev expressed hope that the "republic" would join Russia soon.
