ADB Managing Director General: The Asian Development Bank and Georgia should work together to strengthen both the country's and the region's capabilities

The Asian Development Bank and Georgia should work together to strengthen both the country's and the region's capabilities, - Managing Director General of the Asian Development Bank, Voochong Um, told reporters in Tbilisi.

"First of all, we are glad to be in Tbilisi at the 57th annual meeting of the Asian Development Bank. It is very important that all interested persons in this region come together and contribute to its development. Corridor and connectivity are one of the key elements of the Asian Development Bank's role. Especially with the theme, "Bridge to the Future", to a brighter future, this is very important. For this to happen, the Asian Development Bank and Georgia must work together to strengthen the capacity of both the country and the region to be seamlessly connected to the future. This means developing human potential and infrastructure in a sustainable and inclusive way. This is how we can build a sustainable future for all," said the Managing Director of the Asian Development Bank.
