The so-called minister of finance of occupied Abkhazia on the suspension of financial aid from Russia - we will be able to reimburse expenses this month, but it will be a little more difficult in the future

At this stage, the Russian Federation has suspended the transfer of 141 million rubles (1.6 million US dollars) of the monthly allocated amount to Abkhazia, - the so-called minister of finance of the occupied region Vladimir Delba said about this.

According to him, this amount is 1/12 of the annual amount.

According to Vladimir Delba, the implementation of the agreement on financing the salaries of social workers has been suspended due to non-fulfillment of the terms of the program of harmonization of Abkhazian legislation with the legislation of the Russian Federation by the Abkhazian side.

In particular, by August 1, Abkhazia had to ratify agreements on the implementation of investment projects by Russian legal entities on the territory of Abkhazia and the enforcement of court and arbitration decisions on economic projects.

According to Vladimir Delba, the budget of Abkhazia will be able to cover expenses in the current month, but "it will be a little more difficult in the coming periods".

"I really hope that the situation will change, that the Abkhazian side will at least make a decision to resolve these issues, and accordingly, we will receive Russian financial assistance on time," he said.
