Kakha Kaladze: The closer the date of the elections gets, the more they will intensify the announcements that we are canceling visa liberalization - this is blackmail, these very facts indicate foreign interference

The closer the election date gets, the more active will be the announcements that we are canceling visa liberalization, we are starting processes, specific steps, this is blackmail, - said the mayor of the capital, the general secretary of "Georgian Dream", Kakha Kaladze.

According to him, stopping visa liberalization is quite a difficult process.

"Blackmailing is going on as much as possible. The closer the date of the elections gets, the more they will intensify the announcements that we are canceling visa liberalization, we are starting processes, concrete steps - this is blackmail. When I talk about foreign intervention, these facts speak for themselves. Experts and political parties do not deny that the closer the elections are, the more these types of statements will intensify", Kaladze said.
