In the last 2 months, election parties have received more than 9 million GEL in donations, of which more than 8 million GEL comes to "Georgian Dream"

In the period from July 1 to September 12, 2024, election parties received a total of 9,571,423 GEL in donations.

In particular, according to the information published on the website of the Anti-corruption Bureau of Georgia, "Georgian Dream" received the most donations - more than 8 million GEL, more specifically 8,246,460 GEL. During this period, the party received about 250 donations, of which about 40 people contributed 60-60 thousand GEL to "Georgian Dream".

After the ruling party, "Lelo for Georgia" has received the most donations from the opposition parties. In about 2 months, from July 2 to September 4, the party received a donation of 1,038,537 GEL. Among the donors are one of the leaders of the party, Davit Usupashvili and Avtandil Tsereteli, who donated 10,000 and 60,000 GEL to the party, respectively.

As for the "United National Movement" donation, the party received 164,455 GEL in the period from July 1 to September 12.

The "For Georgia" party received 118,971 GEL in donations from July 1 to September 8. Among the donors are: Beka Liluashvili, Berdia Sichinava, Natia Mezvrishvili and Levan Gogichaishvili.

In the same period, the parliamentary opposition party "European Socialists" received the money only in the month of July. Three donors contributed a total of 3 thousand GEL.

According to the information published on the website of the Anti-Corruption Bureau of Georgia, in the specified period of 2024, two parliamentary parties, "Citizens" and "Strategy Agmashenebeli", did not receive any donations.
