Gia Volski on the statement of the EU office: this is some kind of injustice! - What did we do, where did we take a step back? for what - Because we asked, where is this money spent?

Why? What did we do, where did we take a step back?! for what - Because we asked where this money is spent? - This is some injustice! - This is how the first vice-speaker of the parliament Gia Volski responds to the statement of the EU representative, according to which Georgia will lose EU aid in the amount of 121 million euros as a result of the decline of democracy.

Volski calls the statement of the EU representative "politically engaged"."This is some kind of injustice! First, why is democracy in decline?! - Because we don't release despot Saakashvili or because we pass a law against LGBT propaganda? What did we do, where did we take a step back?! for what - Because we asked where this money is spent? - What a disaster, where did they bring it from! Such an attitude towards the country and its people is unfair and cannot be taken into account, especially when all the ratings put Georgia ahead of democracy and any other direction.

I advise all people who publish such statements to read the latest study of the Council of Europe on where Georgia is in terms of its democracy, economy, openness and transparency. When we read such a statement, we must additionally ask why, what is the reason for this? Where did we take a step back?!As for the project that was to be implemented with these funds and is not related to the financing of specific non-governmental organizations, but to agriculture, education or other important areas, what is surprising is that the state should take responsibility here and mobilize resources so that there is no lag in the field." - said Gia Volski.

Ambassador of Korea Hyon Du KIM - Korea’s strength lies in high-tech manufacturing while Georgia’s strength is in logistics and service areas - Georgia should not be just considered as a single market but as a market that can encompass the region and beyond
