Kakha Kaladze: The decision of the Constitutional Court was clear, how can transparency be bad, it is unimaginable - even an ordinary citizen should know who is financing the insulting of the church, swearing by the patriarch, revolutionary scenario

Everything should be clear, even an ordinary citizen should know who finances, for example, the insulting of the church, who finances the swearing of the patriarch, who finances the revolutionary scenario - the capital's mayor Kakha Kaladze told journalists about the decision of the Constitutional Court.

According to Kaladze, the polarization is stirred up by those foreign partners who criticize the government because of the law on "transparency of foreign influence".

"The decision of the Constitutional Court was clear - how transparency can be bad is incredible. On the one hand, they call us to carry out reforms in the democratic direction, to move forward, transparency is important, and on the other hand, they tell us that you know what, in this case transparency is bad because it concerns them, their finances. It should be made public, from whom these funds are received, what they are spent on, and this is not arranged because, unfortunately, polarization is fueled by them, by their financing.

Do we remember that they told us that the government should take a step to reduce polarization - yes sir, we are ready to do everything for that. They tell us this, and on the other hand, they finance revolution, extremism, they finance traditions, the insulting of values, which are dear to every Georgian, and this leads to conflict and strife among people. Everything should be clear, an ordinary citizen should also know who finances, for example, insulting the church, who finances the swearing of the patriarch, who finances the revolutionary scenario, etc., Kaladze said.
