Mamuka Khazaradze: The results of the elections, which will be recognized by the international community as a legitimate expression of the will of the Georgian people, should be acceptable to everyone

"The results of the elections, which will be recognized by the international community as a legitimate expression of the will of the Georgian people, should be acceptable to everyone," said Mamuka Khazaradze, the leader of "Strong Georgia".

As Khazaradze noted, all reliable polls confirm that the opposition will win the elections, and this fact is known to the ruling party as well.

"There are two weeks left before the elections. The final result of the elections depends only on the Georgian people. It is already obvious that the opposition will win in these elections. All reliable surveys confirm this. This fact is also known to "Georgian Dream" and it is this that causes their panic behavior and fear. The majority of voters already know for sure that they do not want "Georgian Dream" in power. Elections and fair counting of votes will prove this.

We want to send a message to all political parties. On October 26 and the following days, Georgia will be in the center of the world's attention. We have a duty to represent our country with dignity and ensure the safety of our people. In these elections, our coalition follows the path of Ilia Chavchavadze with the unshakable belief that Georgians must stand together in difficult times.

Therefore, today we call on the ruling party to avoid all kinds of violence and violations of the country's constitution and electoral legislation. I, on behalf of all the leaders of the "Strong Georgia" coalition, call on the members and supporters of our coalition to, first of all, set an example of decent behavior. We also warn "Georgian Dream" that you will not be allowed to manipulate votes, physically intimidate voters, and we will strictly respond to all such attempts. The results of the elections, which will be recognized by the international community as a legitimate expression of the will of the Georgian people, should also be acceptable to everyone.

And, finally - we have a simple message for voters: please don't stay at home! Go to the elections! A lot depends on you in this election, your vote is decisive. It doesn't matter which party you support, please take part in this most important process for the country," Khazaradze said.
