Hungarian Minister of European Union Affairs János Bóka states that at the meeting of the General Affairs Council of the European Union, Germany raised the issue of recent developments in Georgia.
"Germany raised the issue of recent developments in Georgia, and once again confirmed the commitment of the European Union to the stability and democratic aspirations of the region," Bóka said.
He also noted that at the meeting of the European Council, which will be held on October 17, the leaders of the EU member states will discuss a number of current foreign political issues, on which "special attention" will be paid to the situation in Georgia.
As it is known, the meeting of the General Affairs Council of the European Union in Luxembourg will be chaired by the Hungarian Minister for European Union Affairs, János Bóka.
