Russia asked Georgia and Azerbaijan to import electricity in case of accidents

The Russian energy company "Inter-RAO" is considering the possibility of importing electricity from Georgia and Azerbaijan during emergency situations, - the Russian media reports based on the member of the "Inter-RAO" management board, Alexandra Panina.

"We asked two countries - Azerbaijan and Georgia for the possibility of delivery during emergency periods. 300 megawatts each," said Alexandra Panina.

According to her, no country has responded yet.
