As for Georgian citizens and precincts registered abroad, according to Ioseliani, the Central Election Commission has created 67 precincts in 42 countries abroad.

"There are about 95,000 voters abroad. Citizens of Georgia have the right to vote abroad at the polling station that was created by the CEC 1 month earlier. Polling stations are opened in consular institutions and diplomatic missions. There was talk about Strasbourg, where there is no diplomatic representation, that's why we couldn't do it. At the same time, the speaker of the CEC spoke in the program about the procedure that the voter will go through at the polling station.

"On October 26, voters can come to the polling station from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. The voter coming to the polling station must have a Georgian citizenship ID card/ID card or passport with him.

At the polling station, the first procedure that the voter will go through is the marking check. After that, it is necessary to present an identity card or passport. Voters will be met by verification machines instead of desk lists. After forwarding to the registrar, it will be electronically verified. The ID card will be brought to the corresponding lane of the verification machine, where the voter's personal data will be displayed on the screen. According to the CEC spokesperson, the primary result will be announced in 2 hours after the end of the voting procedure.

"After the voting process ends at 20:00, after that there are several stages provided by law. If the voters used the portable ballot, their ballots must also be placed in the vote counting machine, after which, with the push of a button, we will know the primary results. We expect to announce the first result within 2 hours. After the data is sent to the CEC, the process of manual counting will begin at the precincts," Ioseliani said.
